The first question I usually get asked is, “So how much is this going to cost?” Graphic and web design projects vary greatly in their particulars, so I really cannot give a quote without being familiar with the project you have in mind.  My website building process is interactive, and I try to start development as early as possible so that clients can provide feedback and direction from start to finish. To get started on a project contact me, I will then review the information you provide, and we will begin to clarify your business or organization’s design needs.

Average Costs

My websites range in price from $600 for a simple wordpress powered site with a custom template, one form page, and a tutorial to learn the basics, to more than $3000 for large dynamic projects that require outside programmers or custom content management systems. Typically, most clients’ needs would be met closer to the $600 end. After the initial email consultation a 50% deposit would be required to begin work on the project. I will provide web hosting, but would prefer to help you set up your own account at a reliable company.

Additional Services

Additional services available include adding E-commerce capability, brand development, logo creation, copywriting, photography, market research, and small business advertising consultation, but these obviously add to the cost of the project. Many clients come to me saying that they need a website, when what they really mean is that they need a business plan and help developing their brand and product line. I am happy to brainstorm through this process with you and contribute my expertise, but my time, like yours, is valuable, and there is a charge for this service as well.
